Why didn't we get Ahmed Hassan on a free transfer ?

This guy really rocks ! He can get much much better than Anderlecht.

Tonight he played like Zidane. Awesome performance.

because he wouldn't make it in in our reserve squad.

He's like one of the biggest assholes in the entire history of soccer.
I disagree.

but well it's not like we have had any real shortages of those lately now have we? Zlatan, Capello, Vieira..etc.

I'm not a fan of him, by the way. But for your informtion, Ahmed Hassan was awarded the best player award in the previous African Cup Of Nations. Did you even watch it?
only the final. Being awarded the best player is a good acheivement for playing good in what? 7-8 games in a cup tourney? How about consistency in 38 matches?

I"m not trying to be an ass. He's a decent player but not Juve material nor good enough to make in Europe's top dogs.

8 good matches in an 8 match tourney is consistent if you ask me.

Why don't you keep your shit for yourself ?

I'd rather dump it in your mouth

but I'll play along. Since YOU have no idea what your talking about. Playing good in 8 matches is called being in form. Playing good althrough or almost all through a season is called being consistent. Zidane was given the best player awrad in the WC when he was invisible in almost all matches besides 2-3 matches. He also came second or 3rd during the FIFA awards yet he was out of form all throughout the year. So being awarded something is not a reflection of your overall quality. It just means that you stood out in a tournament. Greece won Euro 2004 does that mean their players are the best in all Euro?

and since you seem to not believe me about Mido being an ass. Here why he is an ass:

He fell out of favour with not one, not 2 but 3 coaches because mostly of his behaviour. And he assaulted another player on his team. Doesn't sound very professional to me. I would have really like him at Juve has it not been for his professional attitude problems though.

Dude i don't wanna turn the discussion into form/consistency ways. How consistent is Del Piero ? You obviously didn't know Hassan and i bet you didn't even know where he's playing this season. So here's my hint for you : You watch Hassan for once (or twice, or a whole season ... consistency you know) and then watch the Juve reserves !

1) I probably know Mido better than you do cause he used to play in Belgium. Want more details ? He had given his word to Anderlecht but still he turned them down when Ajax came up, calling Ajax a Ferrari and Anderlecht a 'whatever'.

2) You obviously missed the point of my remark, cause that wasn't what i was pointing out.

LMAO. Yeah he's so good that he's never won an African player of the year award. You know the award that's given for good CONSISTENT players like Eto'o and Drogba.

DO I need to watch him to determine his good or not? No. He's what? 31? And which major club (or decent club) in a major league has he played for? no offense to Anderlecht, but there is a big difference between Anderlecht and Juve. He's won 2 African nations cup with Egypt. Congrats to him for his success with the Egyptian team but that's it. Ali Deai has the highest international goal record after Pele and Ronaldo. Does that mean that he's good enough to play for Juve instead of Trezeguet or good enough for Milan to play instead of Shevchenko? NO.

and don't even try to compare Del Piero to him. Del Piero was consistent enough to have stay in Juve for more than 10 years, help them win many titles become a club idol and captain the club. He's had his downs but that's more to do with his injuries that set him back than him being inconsistent as a result of loss of form.

end of discussion.
