getting bobo is the killer blow for any chances of Trez staying.

Do you honestly see Trez or Vieri sitting on the bench?!
you said it yourself, Vieri easily get injured. and we have to play Serie A,Champions and Coppa next season.
obviously they can play together.

It doesn't work that way.. Vieri has his injuries in patches all around the year.

The means Trez will be constantly on and off the bench. you saw what that did to his form this year!!

either one won't accept sitting on the bench.
we got Rid of pippo to satisfy Trez.

Totti and Nesta? Hmmm...

On 4th of July Italian NT will be celebrating their second EURO (or US Independence Day, either one).

Nothing terrible about that...

Don't worry about the money, there will be enough for the defense. And 116 out of 220 games is not all that bad. I wonder how many Del Piero played...

Vieri is one great signing!
EXACTLY!!! Why have TWO Glass players!!?! :wallbang:

Well all I can say is that I'm very happy, I can't wait to see DP- Vieri duo... I know Vieri is not a youngster, but he is a proven goalscorer, and remember, we were not looking for a partner for Trez, we were looking for his replacement...
Also, for those of you who said that prefer Gilardino, I would also prefer Gilardino, but his is going to be with Roma.
Your missing to point here, he gave Vieri in exchange of Di Vaio, I think we won here...:D

Getting Vieri obviously means bye bye Trez which is a pity. But I'm sure that Moggi will be getting another player to replace him as we will need a reserve to come off the bench and substitute Vieri when he won`t be able to play. Maybe Corradi looking at the players which are still available.

Esteban depends on how much more money we are giving them. Luckily Maresca will not going so that's great news already.

Well, there have been no news about Zalayeta's sale or lease so far (I think). So if Trezeguet is sold, we have

    1. Miccoli
    2. Del Piero
    3. Vieri
    4. Zalayeta

I think another striker is required...

I dont see why Juve is messing up the attack line where our main problems are elsewhere!

    Very stupid.
the fact that Vieri is 30 means that juve'll be shuffling the attack again in a couple of seasons.

we need defenders and a replacement for Nedved.

Also, dont forget that Vieri's wages at Inter is higher than DP's. i dont think he'll get too much of a paycut, but it'll still be a back breaker for juve. how can we expect to attract good defenders if we're not able to offer them reasonable wages.

Hey Zizou if you know so much are you able to tell us who else we are purchasing? As far as I am concerned the purchase of Vieri is a waste of time and money. He is old, over-rated and always injured. We should be purchasing young players like Zlatan and Gilardino.

Unless they get one, or perhaps two young strikers if Trez is sold, then this is one horrible deal. I'd rather keep Di Vaio(never thought I'd say that) and whatever amount of money they were paying Inter, and use this money a lot more wisely.

This is just terrible. We already have one gifted, yet constantly injured 30 year old forward, why add another one? At that salary, no less.

I can't believe I'm going to be saying this, but this team could actually be OLDER than last year's model. :wallbang:

Btw apparently the wage is of 4m euros per year which I find too high. Won't believe this till it's official.

*DISCLAIMER - IF MORATTI DECIDES TO PULL OUT OF THE DEAL AT THE LAST MOMENT, THEN DO NOT BLAME ME* :D

I'm would be so glad if this is true.

For all those who are against it:

    1. Vieri stated before, that he agrees a paycut.
    2. If we got Vieri we can invest to a riskier young talent, like Cavegoal, we wont be in serious trouble if he fails to produce in Italy

    3. (I posted it before, but Its soooo convinceing) The last five years, in serie-a,he scored 90 goals in 116 matches (0.77 goal/game) !!!
