OHH there he isss! :D

Yeah man I still have no doubt that you're the better team. Cummins is just a freak and saved our arse.
Enjoying the moment i see.:D

Actually we threw the game away, had we not dropped two crucial catches in the first innings, we wouldn't have had a 20+ runs deficit which would have been out of your teams reach. Anyway, series drawn, some nice revelations for both teams. Cummins truly is a gifted player & one for the future, undoubtedly MOTM.

He was the best person available at the time. Australia hasn't had a good coach for 10+ years.

It didn't matter who was coach when your team had players like: S. Waugh, J. Langer, M. Hayden, R. Ponting, A. Gilchrist, J. Gillespe, G. McGrath, S. Warne all at the top of their game. They coached themselves. John Buchanan was the most overrated person in Australian cricket in the last 30 years...

Those were the days :touched:

Still with the rich cricketing pedigree Australia has, this slump could have & should have been avoided much, much earlier. You guys have so many young, talented cricketers that should have been intergrated into to team a long time ago.

I know man that's what's so frustrating about it all. There's no shortage of young talent here. We've got a lot of good young cricketers as well.

But seriously, cricket Australia is just run by a whole lot of old dead shits.

:agree:
True that! we're paying the price now. as long as we don't end up like the West Indies...
The West Indies were dominant back in the day because they played a more aggresive style fo cricket compared to today. With the introduction of technology, safety gear & padding, it really slowed down their dominance along with their best players retiring.

Looks like they've been learning the tricks of the trade from cricket SA. The directors are constantly bickering & fighting over bonuses. Fortunately Gary Kirsten isn't a push over & will instill some discipline. Whether Mickey Arthur can avoid being overrun by cricketing selectors like he was, when he was SA coach is a whole different story.
