What an emphatic victory by Sri Lanka but some dodgy officiating & Nathan McCullum was really robbed of a magnificent caught & bowled wicket. Jayawardena can count his lucky stars.

So SA & India could possibly face New Zealand or Pakistan, i certainly would rather take a match up against New Zealand.:D

Yeah, that would be the easy road to semis :D,i would gladly take pakistan too, though im wary of their unpredictability..

So if we win our quaters then who do we get in semis? each other or the other two

Not sure but i don't think teams that were in the same group would be matched up.

Dream on, dream on.:D Is it me or do Australia look way weaker than they used to be? Talent wise they're lacking but they still have that winning mentality.

Australia looks good on talent me thinks, they are just not confident enough...i fear for the team taking them on in QF,they will huff and puff and lose in the semis though

Its between India-SA-SL

Nah, Australia aren't anywhere good as their previous squads. In all honesty, i'm very confident against Australia, England, West Indies & New Zealand. It's the teams with the spinners that worry me most, so i'd really like to avoid India, Sri Lanka & Pakistan. Our top order batsmen really need to find their feet because our middle order isn't that confident.

If we could rearrange the batting line up to:

Amla
Smith
Van Wyk
Kallis
de Villiers
Du Plessis
Duminy
Botha
Steyn
Morkel
Tahir

I'd be very, very happy with that order as Van Wyk is way more comfortable in the top order & dropping Kallis, de Villiers & Duminy down the order gives us much needed batting depth & variety.

Why would you play AB so down the order? I think he should at least come at no 4 and kallis a little further down
Because he scores at such a fast rate, besides it takes Kallis a while to get into things. He hasn't found his form yet but once he does, he'll be explosive. AB would bring up the run rate when required, just remember it depends when wickets are taken & whether there's a power play during that time.

No gratitude from you Indian & english fans, if SA didn't beat Bangladesh it would have gone down the wire. If India rape WI with a massive run margin, Bangladesh might make it.:D
