But Ahmed you are quite right. Our players need to step it up or get out because we are so inconsistent it's not even funny!
I think Gayle is definitely taking them in the right direction...the Windies team of 2 years ago would have lost this series 3-1...he has instilled some steel and backbone into the team, and whilst they are still lacking matchwinners, they have certainly become a much harder side to beat now

As my brother was saying, had Lara still been the Captain they would not have played for him like they did for Gayle yesterday. I think the rest of the team may have had a beef with him which is a bit sad. I have a feeling Lara, as great as he was, was a bit of a diva... As much as the drive is there right now however, the talent is a bit lacking. Gayle, Chanderpaul, Sarwan and Bravo I think are pretty okay. I think even Ramdin and Nash can hold their own as well. Some of the others though, not so good.

Did you guys look at the game by the way or just listened? A cameraman was taping our section for a good 10 minutes and I just hope that it doesn't go on local tv because I played hooky from work in order to go to the game. :p

I was following the games on and off...other than the 1st Test, the rest were prety boring runfests and only become interesting on the final day...and let's hope for your sake that your boss wasn't following the action too closely ;)

I don't think England really expect much this time. They are pretty much focused on the Ashes already.

I usually expect England to fail, but I think they'll do well this time for some reason.

Perhaps if someone mixes up curling and cricket you could get a sport that is almost interesting to watch. You have Canadians sweeping the floor for you and people throwing hard, solid rocketlike balls at Pakis.

What's not to like about a sport that lasts five days, stops for lunch and tea and can still end in a draw?
