Shit way to end a great Test, but very small details.

England need to drop Finn, he looks terrible right now. Australia will probably want to change 1-2 batsmen around the top. I don't think the trick of playing obvious 7s at 11 is going to keep working.

Australia just needs to bat better. If it wasn't for Ash & Hughes' heroics in the first innings it wouldn't even have been nearly as close as it was... and if the top order batted better we would have won easily.

Well England don't seem to have made a very good fist of that after winning the toss.

Seems to be a decent pitch and was perfect batting conditions all day.

If it's the same tomorrow, Australia should be looking to get a pretty significant lead.

I think that is what they have to be looking to do if they are going to win the Test, which I assume is their intention.

There batting line-up isn't entirely useless, so they should have a couple of decent innings in them over the course of the series.

wicket definitely good for batting though.
