this is absurd, this guy is shit, we want to win the scudetto, how the fuck are we going to with this prick?

it pisses me off when we cant do anything about, quite clearly this is a bad transfer, not like sissoko's who i didnt want but had the potential, this guy will fuck it all up.
I wouldn't call him a bad player, he's great at what he does
do we need him? that's another matter
I believe if we sign him we need Stankovic too while if we sign Xabi we get the two in one player although about the same price

this is not the type of player Juve needs at all it was obvious last season that with either Camo or nedved missing we created nothing at all, we couldnt even score against teams like emploli and now were are spending our money on defensive midfielders????!!!! another pointless transfer!!.... unless we get Alonso becuase Polsen would be great back up for Momo.

Well, it could still look like this: Giovinco-Xabi-Sissoko-Camoranesi, with a lot of creativity.

But with Alonso's tranfer fading away and some injuries, we can see also:
Nedved-Poulsen-Sissoko-Salihamidzić...

If Poulsen comes I would not be surprised if he too flopped and gave Marchisio a chance to earn a first team spot.

Giovinco polsen Momo Camo / sali

This still isnt creative enough imo, if we can not score against teams like Empoli then how can we expect to be successful in europe and beat the top teams with this lack of creativity. Are defense is ok but it is one that is capable of making a lot of mistakes so we cant rely on playing defensivily and grinding teams down like we used to, we will get ripped apart even with two defensive midfielders. Giovinco we know can be amazing but we would still be taking a risk as we dont know how well he will perform for Juve at this level.

Fielding both momo and Poulsen, at the same time, would allow Juve to play different formations... such as those two behind Gio... and with two wings... that could indeed work...

To those who haven't seen enough matches with Poulsen.. pls be quiet... he is a very strong DM .. but only needed, if Ranieri wants to change formation...

Buying Poulsen, could also leave some money to a better creative midfielder, cause in my mind .. Xabi aint that creative... he suits long balls football pretty good...

maybe we could play with poul and sissoko if we have good wingbacks - but we dont so its pointless. This transfer is a terrible idea, i hope its just a threat to liverpool

How do you expect to survive with only creative players?
We need players like Sissoko to stop the opposition. We can't field ONLY creative players. The reason that we can't score against Empoli is not because we lack creativity but their lack of attack. They constantly defend with 10 men.
How would you describe our performances against Viola, both Milan teams and AS Roma? Surely we scored a lot of goals and thats not because we lack creativity.

I dont want Juve to just field creative players
Giovinco-Xabi-Sissoko-Camoranesi would be a great midfield and we already have other players like sissoko to stop the oposition already. If we are not going to play with a lot of creative players then our defense must be pretty good if thats the tactics that ranieri wants to use but i dont think it is good enough to stop teams like man united Arsenal or barcelona (all teams we may have to beat to succeed in europe). Our forwards were on top form this year and that really helped us in the tough games but if they arent near that form this season then we could struggle and that is why i want a more creative midfield.

Gigli: Fans Will Love Poulsen

Juventus President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli is confident that the club’s fans will soon fall in love with imminent new signing Christian Poulsen.

The Bianconeri are well known to be in the market for a top class centre midfielder, and this has seen them pursue the likes of Alberto Aquilani, Xabi Alonso, Dejan Stankovic and Xabi Alonso.

However, according to reports in the Italian press this morning, it seems that it will be Sevilla hardman Christian Poulsen who will be arriving in Turin, and a deal could be completed as early as today.

The Juve fans have been very vocal in who they believe the club should sign, and have made it clear that Xabi Alonso is their first choice. The tifosi have also declared their opposition against Inter man Stankovic.

Old Lady President Gigli believes that the fans will take to Poulsen, if he does indeed complete his transfer from Sevilla.

“The fans will like a midfield warrior [like Poulsen],” said Gigli.

“In football there is quality, but let us not forget the quantity also."

Juve have so far signed Dario Knezevic, Olof Mellberg and Amauri this pre season.

Gigli has reaffirmed that he has no idea what is good for Juve and further cemented his position as a complete tool with no football knowledge whatsoever

Indeeed. If Poulsen arrives, all my hopes are down to Marchisio and Giovinco. I hope these 2 will step it up, play brilliantly and develop into stars. Poulsen for sure won't. Tiago will leave and if he doens't, he will flop again......I don't even feel like talking.....
