It's funny but we actually do need a player like Poulsen after selling Nocerino. Who would replace Momo if he gets injured?

Poulsen is a vast improvement from Nocerino.

I also think there is still hope for Alonso since we also need someone that can pass the ball around. However, that's not to say that a player like Poulsen isn't very much in need.

I guess I'm the only person who thinks that Poulsen will definitely help this team.

I see Poulsen as more of a defensive player, not really the Sissoko/Zanetti type, but restricted only to defensive duties. He can also be used as a make-shift RB + CB. For me I rather he stay as a DM as he seems to be a walking time bomb.

Moreover Poulsen has played in the Champions League and represented himself for Denmark as well. His experience in Europe will definitely help the team, even though he does have some problems with his head. We will see what happens. I wish the best for Poulsen in Juventus

Lets give the guy a chance. You may think it's a bad move by the board (what most of us think), but let him prove himself as player in his role.
imo his quality isnt in question here, i think he's a very good player, i'd have been ecstatic if he signed for Arsenal tbh, but the real question is Do Juve really need another defensive minded midfielder?? thats why even if he became a good player for Juve(which he will) its still a meaningless signing, and the money wouldve been better spent elsewhere.

He'll do very good here. He always does his job well.
He's a very good player but for the obvious reasons he's not a good signing.

What to do? The board has already decided to buy Poulsen and he is to be here very soon. I think the board will never change their mind even if the fans are to protest on the streets. Might as well wish him all the best

I agree with fred's comments earlier. Nothings official yet and I dont believe the fans will go all the way in trying to stall this transfer unlike that of stankovic.

Well despite my earlier comments I guess we are just waiting for the announcement..

Poulsen To Protesting Juve Fans: I'll Win You Over

Soon to be Juventus player Christian Poulsen is confident he will get through the resentment from the Tifosi...

Christian Poulsen's new Italian adventure has not started yet, but is already raising a few eyebrows, with Bianconeri fans admittedly against the transfer and the media constantly rehashing his past run-ins with the likes of Francesco Totti and Gennaro Gattuso, which had made the Dane a household name in the peninsula.

He is expected to formalize his move from Sevilla in the next days by signing a 5-year contract, which will make him one of the top earners at Juve: only Buffon, Del Piero, Trezeguet, Amauri and Nedved manage to surpass his wages.

Evidently, this star treatment for a player who has always been considered a midfield hard man, but not a maestro, does not sit well with hardcore Juve fans, who made it abundantly clear yesterday at their pre-season training camp in Pinzolo, by displaying an unequivocal banner that branded him "rubbish".

Two summers ago Milan were also rumored to be very keen in bringing to Lombardy the Danish international, but allegedly some of the locker room veterans vetoed the transfer, on the grounds of his bad temper.

But all this stories do not seem to faze Poulsen: " I know that playing in Italy will not be easy for me at the beginning, especially in Milan and Rome. I also know that my reputation as a trouble-maker precedes me, but I am one that always gives 100 per cent."

"I am not worried and I know I will have to win over fans, but I'm a proud man who does his talking on the pitch. I'm very happy to be at Juve, because it's a wonderful club, play the Champions League and it's one of the best known sides in Denmark".

One to endorse his switch to Italian football is Sevilla' s goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis who told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "He's a great professional, who always gives his all and knows how to play different roles, he even played at centre-back last season!

"He's not merely an ankle-biting hard-man, he also has good feet, in spite of what people say. He has what it takes to wear the Bianconeri shirt."

Inter are like a little brother, they look at the older brother and see they have a shiny toy and cry for one of their own afterwards
There is only one Giovinco, Inter and he plays with Big Brother
stop trying to opy us and do something of your own
inter are pathetic really. they have no real history or definition to their name.

that is a little harsh on Inter, I would say Massimo Moratti turned them into shitbags...before that they were quite honourable

Thats the point!! He is good but not what we need right now, last season it was pretty obvious that we lacked creativity. A team like juve have only two creative players (camo and giovinco). Last season the board tried to sign millito and spent the whole summer trying to do so and at the end they've signed andrade (big mistake)...the same scenario is happening again but this time its alonso-poulsen and again it will be not a very smart move from the three stooges....

The guy on VS insisted on the date(Tuesday), other sources say don't worry about the date so it could be earlier or a bit later. They are confident he will come. :rulz:
