Too bad Michael_Cutajar is not here.
You are really starting to annoy me.

Hmmm, i don't know, i kinda like Gila for all the easy chances he's missing and for being a complete failure. He's not worthy a +rep

For a +rep you'll have to be creative when you talk about Inzaghi, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Kaka, Seedorf, Nesta, Maldini or Pato
True Dule, it has to be something like Pato joined Milan cause he heard Gattuso is an animal, and thought it would be close to what he received from the Priest when he was younger :D

So Italy should have a person not of italian nationality on the national team. Yea that makes sense.......
Nationality is a relationship between a person and their state of origin, culture, association, affiliation and/or loyalty.

Balotelli was born in Italy and lived his entire life in Italy. At the age of 3, he was entrusted to the Balotelli family.
So, he grew up with Italian parents.

He was born in Italy, he grew up in Italy, Italian is the language he speaks everyday, he loves Italy and considers Italy as his own country ( he proved it by declining the call of the Ghanian NT manager), he lives the Italian way of life (culture).
There you have it : culture, association, affiliation and loyality.

But of course, what's important is the blood
What's the difference between his blood and your blood ? What if both of you have blood from the group 0+ ?
What makes you more Italian than Balotelli ?

Nothing !

He's much more Italian than you are

He is of italian nationality, he is born there, grew up there, adopted since birt by italians.

DO NOT confuse ethncity with nationality. Do try to see the difference between the basic rudimentary things before you preach your posts as making sense.

Some geezer who knows zilch of Italy and never been there, and who is italian because his forefathers boarded a boat across the Atlantic centuries ago, is ethnically italian. But is NOT more italian someone like Balotelli.

Like for example, the bizzaro actor that is Nicholas Cage, italian by blood, he would convince very few he is actually italian though (cant even pretend he is semi-italian even half-convincingly when he is frigging paid to, quite embarrassing hehe)..

Did i say i was more Italian than him? I consider myself an American even though i have Italian blood, and if i ever got really good at football i would choose the American national side because thats who i feel i am. I was not aware that Balloteli had been in Italy so long and was so culturally adapted, I guess i just hated him because he is an inter player and scored against us. If what u said is true well then i am not an arrogant person and I am willing to admit when I am wrong. I am still opposed to Amauri and others like him playing for Italy but I can see Balotelli getting a chance. Please don't twist my words i never said i was more Italian than him.

Sorry for that. It was a misunderstanding

When i said "What's the difference between his blood and Your blood ? What makes You more Italian than Balotelli ?" i didn't mean you in particular. By "You" i mean someone with Italian heritage who's been living all of his life in Australia, Canada, USA etc.

Sorry again

No problem dude.

well for starters, he's a good actor.
I hope u don't actually think that? I act on the stage myself and i have been for 10 years. Everybody in my acting programme could act circles around him. Nicholas Cage is only an actor because his uncle is Francis Ford Coppola who is an award winning American director. In hollywood your ability matters very little, it is far more important to know people in the business.
