Juventus To Sign Almiron Today, Still Negotiating Barzagli
The Bianconeri are set to meet up with Empoli today to finalize the deal which will see the Argentinean midfielder become a Juventus player.
President Cobolli Gigli of Juventus confirmed on Sunday evening that the Old Lady representatives will meet up with the Tuscan club in order to define the final details in the operation which will turn influential midfielder Almiron into a Juve player.
In exchange, Empoli will receive 4.5 million Euros, the co-ownerships of Volpato and Paro, and the loan transfer of Giovinco, with the possibility of signing a co-ownership deal at the end of the loan.
In other Juventus transfer deals, the Bianconeri are still negotiating with Palermo for the purchase of Andrea Barzagli. The Sicilian side has requested 15 million Euros, but the Old Lady is offering 8 million Euros plus other players.
For President Maurizio Zamparini, dealing with the new Juventus is much more difficult than it was before.
