Anyone here have any form of OCD?
If you do, don't be ashamed to share.

I've got a mild form of OCD, from which I can't sleep if I hear footsteps from the appartment above mine.
But I used to have a big one where I had to touch stuff an even number of times. That was weird, good thing I'm over that.

Come on guys, don't make me look like a freak here. Everyone share your OCD story.

Freak :D

No, I suffer midly from my own diagnosis of OCD, when I go out I constantly feel the need to check every 20 minutes if I havent lost any of my belongings, though its probably just paranoia :D

My mom used to do my touching thing she told me.
    Maybe somehow it's genetic?

I used to have one where when I was playing soccer, I had to step over the painted lines with my left foot first.
I lost many chances to score goals that way.
    Good thing I'm over that.

Let me ask you people.. how "obsessive" is this thing? Can you somehow distract yourself from it or is it so absolute that you positively must do it?

I can distract myself, but usually when I do I feel weird, and end up going back and doing the thing again, the way the OCD makes me.

used to do that except i would not walk on a broken paving stone, so sometimes i would weave in and out of peoples paths trying to avoid the cracks in the pavement, now all i can do to try not to avoid cracks:devil:

that would suck so bad if you had my problem and lived in a place with cobblestone streets :D
You would end up doing the spastic moonwalk ( I mean even more so) :D

Its not really an OCD, but I feel like I have to go to sleep on an even time, i.e. at 00:00 instead of 23:51, but sometimes I don't care or notice :D

My roomate could never watch TV when the volume is on an odd number....I sometimes bug him while having the remote and intentionally put an odd number, I look at him and see him flinching, and when I start to laugh he comes over and snatches the remote:D
