Juve's players all shared the same frustration at the final whistle in Copenhagen: "We ran the game and created so many chances."
That much is obvious for anyone who watched Juventus against Nordsjaelland. But the numbers further confirm the Bianconeri's dominance. One statistic is particularly impressive: Conte's men had 30 shots on goal over the 90 minutes, an average of one effort every 3 minutes!
Half of these (15) were on target and, unsurprisingly, opposition goalkeeper Jesper Hansen was voted the UEFA man of the match for a series of fine saves which denied Juventus a deserved victory.
A look at the statistics for the Danes does little to alleviate Juve's regret at two dropped points. Nordsjaelland managed 8 shots on goal (5 on target) and won 5 corners, compared to the Bianconeri’s 18.
Even ball possession, described as the Danish side's strength in the build-up to the match, was in favour of Pirlo and Co., who kept it for 52% of the game.
