De Gea signed for Fiorentina.

Odd move tbh.

I’m curious if they promised him as the first choice keeper or not. They are pretty well covered in the GK dept already even without signing De Gea. Terracciano had a very solid season and is seriously underrated.

i personally would't call Terracciano season very solid, but unsure how de gea will do after entire season without football.

just surprised why we never chased him for Next Generation team.

He is 24 years old. He was owned by his youth club Milan til last summer, loaning him out to different teams. Frosinone bought him that same summer, he had breakout last season, debuted in NT and is getting his bigger team move.

He was bit older and too good to entice to Serie C level of our U23 team, even if Milan would wanted to sell to us last year.

Since Italy has not produced world class players specifically in MF and CF departments for years can't expect more from him but sounds like he has more potential compared to Raspadori, Scamacca, Pellegrini, Retegui(orginially not italian). more stamina and 0 injury record for a period of time he's played.

Nah he is nowhere near in hype to a young Raspadori in Sassoulo or Pellegrini who came out blazing in Roma from young age.

Brescianni is just a solid young b2b mid who had good season in relegated team. I doubt there's much upside there. Players of his profile often do well in smaller teams, but can easily dissappear and flop in bigger teams.
