Gotcha — Stanišić signing a new contract is a good move by Eberl. Loaning him out and then spending that much on Boey last season made no sense
I know. Boey is a good player, but we could've just kept Stanisic in stead as you say.

But on the positive note, he got plenty of game time in Leverkusen, he might not have gotten the same here.

just a random thought on these "former club has 50% on future sale" type of deals: isn't it some hidden co-ownership? which was btw banned years ago, therefore should have consequences...?

but the club with the clause has no say in negotiation once player is sold. thats a big difference than having to negoatiate with 2 clubs same time.

really whats difference does 10 percent clause have vs 50 percent from the club who has the percentage clause perspective? they don't care as long as they get paid. it's the selling's clubs problem

Max Kilman has joined West Ham from Wolves for £40m.

It's a ridiculous amount of money tbh, but it's interesting because it has earned non-league Maidenhead United a £4m windfall after they included a 10% sell-on clause with Wolves when they sold him for just £40,000 back in 2018. That's a transformative amount of money for a non-league team.
