No, you're right, but KSA is in Asia. Most of Russia is, so include those fags, too. I don't care, but on the whole, one in every two persons is Asian. So, you would think they would be much better than they are based solely on statistics. South Korea has always had good players, Japan, too. A lot of them are in the Bundesliga, Son came up through the Bundesliga. In general, they are RADICAL underachievers, that's really all I'm trying to point out. Columbia and Croatia should be on par with Estonia based on the same metric, though, so whatever.
This Korean guy is good though, you'll like him.

of course, but that loss of power happened almost 2 decades ago.

the current events could have been easily avoided if andrea didn't believe that he was the next coming of avvocato or dottore. he tried himself in international sports politics and he failed royally. a man like this is simply not ready for the big stage, be it italian politics or international sports diplomacy. he's not ready to win battles, in fact he lost all of his personal fights, be it the one against ultras (ultras are gone but is it a win when the stadium is empty and silent, and i bet that the current season ticket campaign will be a gigantic fail too), against ceferin or against elkann. i bet he didn't want to give up on juve but he had no other choice than to step down.

now imagine a guy like this engaging into italian politics. he'd be eaten alive in a month.

bottom line is that we've been knowing for 2 decades that juventus have to deal with the lack of the political help of the family. it worked fine before aa decided to take matters into his own hands.
Seems it's going to another discussion about AA. It depends what it means in your view for the things to be going fine for Juventus. We have witnessed an unprecedented domination in Italian football for almost a decade and reached cl final twice. Impressive? Well, we still remained 9-10th in Deloitte money league which teams like Arsenal, Liverpool or Tottenham overcoming us while winning shit or even being ridiculed by their performance. You'll say it doesn't matter how much you spend but how effective you are. Well, I don't agree. Going this marrottesque way, we would end up another Atletico or BVB with the difference that we would probably keep dominating serie a because there's no real, Barca of Bayern. So we could just accept that or go vabanque.
You say AA lost all his battles but what resources he had and whom were his opponents? JE was officially nominated by Gianni to be his dolphin and there was no combat possible seeing the resources he's had (much more stake at Gedi, official nomination from Avvocato). Ceferin, head of the most omnipotent organisation in world football.
The problem with tifosi is also not new. From what I read on VS this is just the mentality of people in Torino. They say that if a club like Juve was based in Milano, Rome, Napoli or Palermo, we'd probably have a magnificent atmosphere at the stadium every week. However, we are in Torino where people are much more reserved.
To conclude, I'm grateful to Andrea that he made the attempt to make Juventus truly elite club. Shame that it didn't work out but better one day as a lion than a hundred as a sheep.

Chelsea has now spent £652 million on transfers since Boehly took over last summer.

Nothing to see here, right Ceferin. :lol3:
And to comply with FFP he needed to sell a bunch of players. So the KSA group invested heavily in Chelsea's Holding Company, then bought a bunch of their players.

Not shady at all.

Looks like we are trying to snatch up Pau Torres, too.

Who is better, Torres or the Pohang Steeler?

Update: Benjamin Pavard definitely wants to leave Bayern Munich this summer
The transfer narrative surrounding Pavard at Bayern has changed often, but it’s now clear he wants to leave.

Benjamin Pavard’s standing at Bayern Munich has changed a decent amount this season and likewise the understanding of if he wants to leave the club this summer, or stay. His current contract with Bayern is set to expire next summer, so it’s a crucial period for Bayern as they don’t want to run the risk of letting him leave as a free agent next summer. There are a handful of interested clubs, so Bayern could cash in on him after a decent season from the French international. He experienced a resurgence of form and his minutes benefitted from the long-term injury to compatriot Lucas Hernandez.
Per information from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Pavard has made it definitively clear to the club that he wants to leave during this summer’s transfer window. There will be no contract extension beyond next summer, so it’s more likely that the Frenchmen will be sold this summer to avoid having him leave as a free agent this summer.
It is still hoped that a deal for Manchester City’s Kyle Walker can be struck, though there is speculation that he is just posturing for a better, more lucrative deal at City. If a deal for the England international falls through, Bayern also have Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta on their shortlist for this summer, per Tobi Altschaffl and Christian Falk.
Walker’s current contract at Manchester City runs through June 2024, just like Pavard’s at Bayern, so City run the same risk that Bayern do if they don’t reach a decision with Walker this summer. They either need to sell him or get him to sign a new deal if they don’t want the right back to leave as a free agent next summer. He’s currently valuated at 13-million euros per Transfermarkt, but it’s reasonable that Pep Guardiola’s side would be asking for more for the defender after their treble-winning season.

If we end up getting the Korean defender, I am going to get one of his shirts with his number on the back, but make the name "Kim Il-Sung."

UEFA and PL have no issues with this
Money talks,

These Gulf countries are getting more astute, instead of bankrolling and buying the bankrupt European clubs, they are trying to lure the best players in their respective leagues, hence strong domestic league.
in 10 years , the Saudi League could be more popular than the Premier League , and they may coerce or intimidate UEFA to create a International Champions league consisting of poor European clubs and their rich clubs.
Case in point , read about the saga of PGA Golf Tour and LIV Tour.

How much are you willing to bet on that prediction?
