Who will be the next Roma keeper next summer?
- Sportiello?
- Perin? (Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin is “ready for a big club and Roma would be ideal,” said his agent.)
- Szczesny
- Sirigu

I think Sportiello and Sirigu are the beset price-quality options. Sportiello is really underrated imo, but we all know Roma and they will end up with Szczesny for 25 million or something
Sportiello :tuttosport:

Definitely most underrated young keeper.

It's ridiculous that people still think these clubs can offer double or triple the wages we can. Real Madrid had highest at 270mil wage bill last year, Juve was 9th at 184 mil. Bayern, for example, had 218 mil, PSG 235 mil. Yes these clubs can offer higher wages, but even Real Madrid isn't more than 1.5X our bill. Bayern was only 1.18X our wage bill. PSG 1.27X

We're easily able to compete in overall wages. We just structure our wages so we have a more balanced squad with depth, rather than top-loaded salaries for our best players. Now, eventually we will have to break that structure somewhat if we want to retain our attract some of the best players in the world.

Transfer fees are our bigger problem. Not wages. Not yet anyways.

And he is the only long term top player in that list too. Rest are at youngest 30 or not good enough anymore in top level. Only exception being Bonucci being top of his position and just about under 30 (is he 28 or 29?). This is defenitely not good Era for Italian players (considering Gigi, Totti and Pirlo still amongst highest paid players).

United mega-offer for Anderson?
By Football Italia staff

Manchester United will reportedly offer a massive €45m for Lazio’s Felipe Anderson if they fail in their bid for Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez.

Louis van Gaal’s side have come under criticism for their lack of attacking firepower this season and are believed to be entering the January market for reinforcements.

La Repubblica has reported today that the Premier League club will return to the Biancocelesti for Anderson, after failing to open talks with the capital club over the summer.

The newspaper believes that United will make an offer of around €45m for the Brazilian number 10, which will test the Aquile’s stance on refusing to let the winger leave.

However, the paper warns that any deal is dependent on James Rodriguez’s situation in Madrid.

The Colombian is reportedly United’s first choice in the market, although Merengues President Florentino Perez has said the attacking midfielder is not for sale.

Should the Red Devils fail in their negotiations for James, then Anderson is believed to be their 'Plan B’.
so desperate :touched:
