- - - Updated - - -

Draxler 35M
Coman 28M

Martial is also a year older than Coman and already played 70 games for Monaco in his 2 seasons there scoring 15 goals. Coman played 22 games for us. huge difference

Yeah I gotta side with zizinho here, there is a lot seperating Coman from Martial so far.
Yup, silly comparing Coman to Martial in terms of market value :agree:

He is talented, but I really don't think a young player who really hasn't proven anything deserves even half this amount. I mean last season was the first season where he could even be considered a "rotation" player, he wasn't even an automatic starter for Monaco last season. Did he have an overly impressive season? Not really. You want a talented French player that is worth breaking the bank for, I'll point you towards Nabil Fekir who is twice the talent, and was one of the best players in the Ligue last season.

Martial is promising, and he's still young, so he could still turn out to be a good player if developed right but he has not performed on a level that warrants breaking the bank for him.

Ya you got a point , but where I am coming from is I am rich as fuck , and I can spend as much as I want , cause I can get back those spending anytime with the revenue I am making.
Plus you got to consider , the windows closes in 1 day and there is no time for haggling . They just pay what Monaco is asking and seal the deal.

At the end of the day, it just comes to spending power and affordability. The poor will complain, the rich will just brush aside.

Some reaction here, feels like when a poor kid sees a rich kid buys an ice cream and the poor kid cant afford and just complain about how bad an ice cream is to make himself happy. Well EPL money, and Man U being one of the biggest money makers in the game, for me if I was in Man U position it doesn't matter, and its no where retarded at all.

It’s reported Felipe Melo’s move from Galatasaray to Inter is all-but complete, for €3.5m plus bonuses.

The Nerazzurri have been tracking the former Juventus midfielder all summer, but the deal appeared to be dead when the Brazilian international signed a new contract in Turkey.

The Beneamata have rekindled their interest in recent days however, and now Sky is reporting that they have reached a deal with Gala worth €3.5m plus bonuses.

Melo is expected to sign a contract worth around €3m per season, while Alex Telles could also arrive on loan with the option to buy.

The latter deal is not at the same stage of completion, but both players are expected to join Inter before tonight’s deadline.

I do believe that it's done the way it is primarily for accounting purposes, as Nostradamus said. Could be wrong obviously, but I'm banking on the 28 million.
yep, agree with this too. this is basically a way to spread the payment and get most of our money in 2017 for whatever reason. even if they dont use their option (highly unlikely), we got 7M for a 2 year loan and still have a very talented 21 yo player which we still can sell elsewhere or even keep him. its a win/win situation for all parties involved

According to many sources, we should have already had Draxler with us. So firstly , lets see the official figures first.
Man u don't disclose the figures on their site

L'Equipe is as reliable as u can get.

€50m being the base fee alone is insane.
