I mean Atlético sell their stars if a good offer comes every year and replace them with younger FIFA/FM hyped players. They don't have a sustainable model and sooner or later , they'll run out of luck.
Indeed.

They're too much of a buy > develop > sell kind of club and I agree that its unsustainable and almost guarantees inconsistency and no real long-term success for anything more than 3-5 years.

Yup. I remember as recent as 3 years ago how Atletico were teetering on the precipice of Bankruptcy. I doubt this period of success under Simeone would have turned things around for them drastically.

Atletico is knee deep in debt to be able to manage a solid project. I'm surprised they aren't dead yet.
Banc guarantees probably and also, a lot of big profit transfers the last few years.

Anderlecht's striker Mitrovic on his way to Newcastle.

models like these have been very sucessful with porto and atletico being great examples. i would say Dortmund is Fifa manager gone wrong.

Atletico is a big failure financially so models like them arent very successful actually (they have big debt problems apparently). Dortmund on the other hand are doing much better by keeping their finances good after they almost went bankrupt few years ago, so id say they are the better run club here.

I find it ridiculous that Barcelona buys and makes a big deal out of Turan even though they are banned to make transfers until January. At least make it quiet you shameless dicks.

I find it even worse that Turan agrees to wait till January to actually play a game for them :sergio:.

Also that clause which lets Barcelona cancel the deal if their current president doesn't win the elections next weeek :howler:.

UEFA FFP and general punishment system is a joke.
