Speaking of Southhampton sales: Arsenal reach 20M agreement for Calum Chambers.
20M is way too much for a teenage fullback that is yet to prove he can cut it at the top level, but thats English players inflated prices for you. Other than overspending for him, I'm happy about this signing for two main reasons. The first is that he's obviously a talented kid, I watched him a few times last season, and he looked like he could develop into a very good fullback. The other reason is I don't think Jenkinson is good enough and I don't think he will ever be good enough to hold a starting spot at Arsenal.
So far: Ospina, Debuchy, Chambers, Sanchez.
IMO if we bring in a quality ball winning midfielder (Schneiderlen or Bender would be great), and cover at centerback, we'd have a completely satisfactory transfer window.
What would make it a perfect transfer window, would be if we also brought in a top striker, but I strongly doubt that would happen.
