It is perversion, not only in football, but other entertaining branches where we witness enormous earnings by individuals that contribute next to nothing for the general well being.
Yeah, but tbh they're also "just" the latest, most extreme excess of a pretty fucked up global economiy system. The current trade system just makes it impossible for poorer countries to really compete on the market and improve their economic and social situation.
