I had a feeling this mercato will be terrible considering last season was good but I wanted to be proven wrong. Is there anything that can be done not to overpay for average players and claim we don't have budget?

Who other than Iturbe are we buying? I am sure that in total we will be spending around 50 M€ if not more.
Finally, we've started our mercato from selling our players, i was asking about it million times, and Beppe is doing what i wanted  after it we can sit and count money in the bank and move for some players that Conte wants i guess

We will not be counting anything if we are buying Iturbe and Candreva.

I highly doubt we're going to spend that much unless we sell more.

We'll have to sign quite a few players in order to make 4-3-3 work. I think we're gonna try to sign some CB (Nastasic, Ranocchia, Paletta), Evra, some MC (Pereyra/Guarin) and some wingers (Iturbe, Ibarbo) and Morata.

People wanted Sanchez here. It was just unrealistic because we can't afford to spend big, like we can't afford Kroos' wages which are insane.

Nope. But Falco deal is complicated since he's not fully owned by Monaco but some group of people (who are partly paying for his wages). All that I've seen is that Falcao will take a pay cut in order to join them.
I thought Monaco bought his complete rights from atletico and that conglomerate of people, his agent mendes being one of them, who owned his righs. I think i read that Mendes caught a big windfall from that sale.

as much as i love him, but hes always out, wonder if bianchi will stick around with roman gone
I can't imagine the team without him. Mino is sold, Insua linked with West Ham. It smeels like a worse season that the last. There is no players to lead the team as Acosta is young. Anyway, Riquelme should end his career in Boca.

agreed, but i wont begrudge him a last payday. Orion, diaz, and gago if he stays should provide enough leadership. There are also a few interesting young'uns colazo, erbes, acosta, araujo, gaona lugo, calleri...

Some years before i believed that Araujo could be the next big thing of Argentine football. But his future disappointed me.

Whats the story with Suarez to Barça? I turned on the TV to see CNN report that officials from both clubs have met in London. An attack of Neymar, Messi and Suarez would be a terrifying proposition. But with that said, they are about to drop something in the region of €70 million euros upwards to a land a great striker to add to an already stacked attack, but have neglected their weak defense and ageing midfield for the past 3 seasons. Their board should look up the meaning of the word 'priorities'. I hope they win f' all for the next decade.
