Di Maria is Ancelotti's fave player. And Di Maria himself has quoted Ancelotti as the reason of his improvement. I can't see him leave unless Ancelotti has no say in the transfer dealings.

They are bringing in Kroos and Falcao. Morata will confirm leave with Falcao coming in. Kroos and Modric will be the guys in the middle, as they are loaning out Casemiro and probably will cash in Khedira.

Kroos is a CM and not a winger that's the first thing. Another one is we couldn't afford Kroos wages anyway. It's not like we need him is another. Count in wages if you want to be realistic when talking about transfers. It's always transfer fee + wages.

I had a feeling this mercato will be terrible considering last season was good but I wanted to be proven wrong. Is there anything that can be done not to overpay for average players and claim we don't have budget?
