Looks like Roma has an agreement for Jackson Martínez.
Perhaps they can repeat this season next year

As i said at the start of the season "dont forget roma, VERY solid team but no true class forward", well if they get that forward...

I could see them do some real damage in the CL. Especially considering how good they can counter, and how no team will bother to limit those

They are getting some good forward, even if they don't get Jackson, they will probably try to sign Mandzukic then.

Either way I think they will be a scary team next season. Very scary, despite of playing 2 competitions.

Yeah, and i like that, if napoli can get a grip it means we'll be having 3 solid teams comming from serie a.
Milan fans gotto be shitting their pants, seeing at what mountain they'll have to climb before getting into the CL again.

The most scary thing about roma, is how it resembles juve in terms of deviding strenght. There isnt one clear world class player like Cavani's Napoli.
You could weaken napoli severely by taking away 1 or 2 players. However, like juve, roma doesnt have that issue. Fine, like us with tevez and vidal, it will lower the quality, and unlike us, they dont got a marchisio to come in. But its very very solid.

Having said that, there is a rumor of Barcelona wanting to sign Klopp. THAT would be like exactly the opposite of the bayeren situation

Bayeren, awesome direct football, got a tiki shiti coach, and destroyed their playstyle, only surviving cause disgusting amount of talent
Barcelona, tiki taki, would get Klopp, master of past paced direct football. But barcelona cant do transfers so cant really get him players. That cant go well.

In b4 Pjanic and Benatia get sold
If that happens be sure they will get tons of money and Sabatini knows how to invest that's for sure. There's a chance Pjanic leaves (eventhough I read Garcia convinced him to stay), but it seems he's asking for 4mln/season. PSG will go for him and they will either offer money, or money + Pastore. They have Radja already, they won't get much weaker I think and they will be able to replace him. However, losing Benatia might be a huge blow, but I think he will stay. But still, with CL they will need plenty of new players.

Roma's coach has done wonders IMO. They do have a decent team but they are the biggest surprise. Their midfield plus CB partnership are great. Nobody expected these kind of performances from Gervinho, who has been their vital player for counter attacks. Destro has also managed to score many goals and he was even injured for a while, pretty scary. They just don't have depth, though, as they often have to rely on freakin' Taddei to play.

I really dislike Barca and I love Klopp, I'd hate to see that happen.

I don't think they can manage to competition....Roma has always been a selling club and if they manage to retain the current set of players that be good enough let alone signing someone like Jackson Martinez should be a distant dream. I think they will surely crash out on the group stage. That defense I see is pretty lousy with only Benatia the worthy player and they have Strootman out injured is a big miss for them.

I didn't hear anything about that release clause, I always read 50-60mln for him, so I doubt it.

Chelsea is one striker away from being a scary team as fuck. If they get him then it will be painful to face them.

Just consider what chelsea is doing this season with, lets be honest here, very crappy strikers.
The EPL is all about forwards. Imagine this chelsea with world class forwards. And they are allready in the CL semi final.

Imo, Madrid had to be one of the hardest teams to succeed for mourinho. They played entirely diffrent compared to his preferred playstyles, yet he still got great results with them, despite never ever getting the keyplayers he needed for his midfield and defence.

I'm pretty sure if he would have gone to bayern, they would have smashed home several Cl's the next decade

turd nuggets

looking forward to watching them getting raped in all cl group stage matches next season
Roma smashed ? Not very likely Tommy.

Solid midfield and defence, lethal counters and apparently soon a very good pacy forward ?

Reminds me of last years Dortmund tbh. But less talented

Wasn't his buyout clause set at 32mil ? 60 mil is alot even for Chelsea these days.
erm no. €60m isn't a lot for either of Chelsea, Arsenal, ManUtd, Psg, Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern. maybe even Liverpool once they start playing CL football without brings nearly €50m extra for PL clubs. Revenues of all these clubs are going to hit €350m+; €60m would mean about €15m amortisation+ wages of another €15m to €20m per year. for someone young like Pogba who could be offered a 6 year contract €60m would mean ony €10m amortisation+€10m wages ~€20m added expense per year when their annual revenue increased by around €50m.

compare that with Zidane for €75m when Madrid's revenue was little more than €150m and Juve's near €200, near half of the revenue on one player. That was insane. €60m with the current revenue stream is very sustainable.

Daily Mirror says Correa is on his way to Atletico.

I know they are a bad source, but either way, it seems Atletico is becoming a dangerous club. I wonder how many players will they sell in the summer. I think they will only sell Diego Costa, as they will get an insane offer for him, but bar that I think they will keep majority of their players as they were always a club that knows how to keep 'em.
