Why is that? Because they are spending €18m on a player we have been loosely linked to?
No, I didn't mean that. What I meant was a situation in which Wolfsburg had the opportunity to bring a player they really need and they immediately found the cash to make it happen.
Of course I don't think we should net de Bruyne for 18 mln. In my opinion our "de Bruyne opportunity" could be Juan Mata for example. However, we don't seem to be in position to splash 25-30 milion when the opportunity arises. Undoubtely, 25-30 milion is more than 18 but I suppose Juve is a bigger club aswell.

Hmm, maybe. Your favorite coach disagrees with you since he played him all the time though :p

Speaking of Moyes' visit, just came across this:

Ferguson didn't play him that much in the past few years. When he first joined United he looked very promising and turned some really good performances, but he's been quite poor for some time now.

Risky move by Fiorentina, but if they get him for cheap, i guess its worth the risk.

He's very talented and effective.

You can't put a 10mln price tag on him while having 12mln on a guy like Matri.

I'm not justifying his 22mln fee, though.

Yes thats true, but the question should be : Is matri 12M worth :p? I just think the market inflate thesedays, too many clubs that can offer silly trasfer fees and wages.

I'd say €16m-€18m on the current market. I also think in Germany he'll struggle to actually fail, it'll suit his style perfectly, so they'll get value from him.
