Ronaldo's price isnt just an expression of his talent, its also an expression of his marketability and Star status. He had that aura around him way before Madrid bought him. Bale on the other hand is very talented too (a couple of levels lower than Ronaldo ofcoarse) and with immense potential but he is nowhere near ronaldo in terms of marketability.

I dont understand why the madrid folks think his purchase at this price is a sound move financially.
