Gervinho > Roma tomorrow most likely :donedeal: he will join them at USA.

Tottenham wants to offer 50 million for Lamela and Pjanic.
if it was possible to get 30m for marchisio and about 20 for matri and quag. we should buy lamela and pjanic. roma never gonna sell them for that kind of money though...

I can't see any way Roma would sell Pjanic for that amount.

Be up more like 15-18m, I'd guess, given what the transfer market has been like this season where barely any decent players have moved for less than 15m.

i think it'd be a lot easier to sell both for 50 at once than try to sell one for 15-18 and the other for 40.

it would suck to see lamela leave tho, he's a talented kid.

Somebody offered 9mln for him like a couple of months ago. He was rarely used and had a meh season, his price is no way around 15mln.

The only reason that transfer (or any related to Tottenham) wouldn't happen for that amount is because they'd try to milk them hard, for those 120mln that they will get.

I don't think Roma will have any interest in selling Lamela when they have already sold Marquinhos for 30m+ this summer.

That's why I think the offer would have to be 50m+ for them to give it serious consideration.

I highly doubt he'll leave, not after Marquinhos.

But he's gonna leave eventually and it's gonna be some crazy number. If he plays well this season (and he will) his price will easily hit 60mln+ mark.

Roma will keep him rather than sell for anything under 15m, I'd say.

May have been different had they not sold Marquinhos for so much.

He never got fucked over in the first place, he agreed with |higuain on personal terms, but did not think he was worth more than 30M, which is what Perez was fishing for, so we let go of the deal and sought after suarez instead, who if we manage to get him is a superior player to higuain for sure imo.

There has been a lull in the last few years. Zlatan to Barca for 70m is the highest I recall and that was quite a while ago.
Ronaldo for €94m and Kaka for €68m were the same year as Zlatan. Then there was Torres. :dielaugh:

Most of the clubs spending insane money recently though have been the likes of Zenit, PSG and Monaco.

I used to love Monaco, but there is nothing left of that club anymore. They literally sunk to the bottom before this new cash injection turned it around.

Funny how transfer fees correspond so poorly to player value. Kaka must have been the biggest implosion in the last 20 years in terms of transfer fee vs actual benefit.
