Official: Jozy Altidore has signed for Sunderland.

Surely that is good knews for USA NT fans, he should improve much more in EPL than in Eredivisie. Although he didn't look too good during his time with Hull, he has improved and matured a lot since then, so it could be a completely different case this time. A lot of depends on who will be playing behind him, Sunderland definitely needs to sign a creative attacking player, Sessegnon and Johnson is not enough. Also, I wonder what formation will Di Canio use next season. Having a guy like Altidore, you could try playing a formation with a lone striker, he's big and strong enough to hold his own, but Steven Fletcher has been productive for them until he got injured. One thing is sure - Graham has to go. Swansea probably threw a party after they managed to sell him for £5M, that guy makes Matri look like Falcao.

Don't count your chickens...

Dortmund just came off the Champions League final and they gave Bayern a game without Götze, let's wait for more football to be played eh.

I've said it already but Gómez to Napoli would be one of the funniest things to happen. Maybe it'll put pressure on Fiorentina selling Jojo....
Dortmund are an excellent team, but they've lost a couple key members.

Juventus just added the final pieces to the puzzle.

It would certainly be an excellent match if both teams faced off. But individually, I think Juventus have the better players.

And Dortmund have a style that would be a nightmare for Juve.
I think we could crush them now with Tevez & Llorente. and our defence could just sit back deeper so as to not be caught out against counters. If they lose another player we will definitely be better. As well drilled as Juve are, Dortmund are probably even better but Juve has better quality now.

The two germans teams are really the only ones I fear tbh. As for Bayern I don't really want revenge, it humbled us and it kinda forced us to step our game in the mercato, still wanna destroy them. But I'm fiending for some Arsenal!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Bayern is really the only team that would definitely fuck us up, if Guardiola doesn't turn them into contiki hakuna matata team.

Mourinho's Chelsea will be interesting, but I think we are ahead of all the EPL teams

Agreed.

I doubt Dortmund will go too far in the CL this season to be completely honest.

The Tevez-Llorente pairing should certainly make a huge difference in these games.

Juve could sit deeper because Tevez, Llorente and one midfielder in support is enough to carry an attacking threat.

That front two will also allow Juve to have infinitely better ball retention than Juve have had, especially when Vucinic hasn't played, and that can allow Juve to get out from the pressing in a way they couldn't against Bayern.

Then there is Llorente providing a proper target as well, so you could also play long to him and just go long whenever the opposition attempts to press.

That said, I still think it would be a very uncomfortable match-up for Juve against either Bayern or Dortmund even if Juve should be much better equipped for it than they were last year.
