Yup.Napoli unlike the two Milan clubs have run on profits these past years.Whoever says they're going to decline is being ignorant.

I think they'll a build a much more complete team now instead of basing the whole game on one player like they did under Mazzari.

Sure Cavani is a big loss ,but they'll make other positions stronger a build a well rounded team just like we've done for example.
Exactly the way I see it. Cavan's sale could in fact be beneficial for them.

Yeah.

Many people said Lavezzi leaving would hurt them a lot, which didn't.

I do think Cavani is their most important player, but let's not forget Hamsik as well, he's their engine.

With the coming investments I can expect them to be stronger. If let's say Gomez comes I think he'll score 20+ goals while they'll have 50mln more to spend (less, if we count wages). But I guess let's wait and see if they do sell, and who they buy in the end.

marotta is a good dealer put he is not completely good at spotting future super-stars. (he did well with vidal and pogba but i think it was more to conte's hard work)
I was more referring to Secco & co. They wasted big sum on players like Melo, Amauri and Diego.

At least Chelsea buy players they think they need. Man City and PSG are run by little children who have more money than brains. It's like they go and buy players in positions that are already full just for the sake of having those quality players

Chelsea were like that in the first couple of Roman's years. Then he calmed down. The same will happen with mentioned clubs. Resources of their owners aren't infinite.

PSG have actually made some sensible transfers.Even though they have spent obscene amounts ,its not liek they stacked the squad just because they can.

Ibra will play the #10 role now with Cavani upfront ,Lavezzi and Lucas on the wings.Makes sense to me.I mean there's logic in their spending.

City on the other hand have made senseless transfers these past few years. They bought in gazillion strikers for the sake of it and now eventually like half of them have left.

How sensible is the Cavani move for them actually? They've already got the L1 topscorer and are in no need of a striker/more goals.

they are afraid of monaco... serie a should watch out for the ligue 1 getting in front of them...
could even argue that ligue 1 has more big names than serie a... well when i think about they have.
