How sensible is the Cavani move for them actually? They've already got the L1 topscorer and are in no need of a striker/more goals.
What ? I dont want to defend them but its clear Ibra will play #10 just like he does for Sweden and hence i think were on the lookout for a striker.

Also,we cant rule out Ibra leaving them.

I fucking hate P$G, I don't know what I'm saying. Those cunts have bought the entire league almost.

Ibra is like the laziest #10 in the world though. Atleast Lavezzi, when he plays that role, helps in defence

Pastore is shit..Either he'll be sold or he'll warm the bench there.

Lucas?
I think they're more likely to field a 4-4-1-1 next year and Cavani's workrate would more then make up for Ibra's laziness.

They eased down a bit. In the first 2-3 years of Roman they would spend between 100-150M. Paying 63m for Cavani wouldn't be an issue for them before.
Oh yes, they have. But they still spend almost 100M every year :D but it's not like Marco Marín was needed there

Of course they're an oil club, but they play in the richest/most supported league in the world are always contenders for the UCL and EPL every season.
I agree then :)

Imo without Leonardo,PSG wouldnt be the team they are today. He exploited the poor financial situation of Serie A teams and built a team with some serious talent. He also convinced up and coming stars like Lucas to join Ligue 1 over EPL.They wouldnt have taken such big strides without him and we can argue that PSG have a better squad than City right now who bought the club like 5 years ago.
Ofcourse when you're given a blank cheque you can sign whoever you want but you need have an eye for talent as well.Look at City ,they bought totally shit players for the first 2 seasons and did waste a lot of money last season too.

As I recall, Man Utd and Inter were after Lucas and they were negotiating for a transfer fee of about 25-30m.

PSG then strolled in late on and offered 45m for him and, I imagine, very big wages.

Not that hard a job to convince someone to 'choose' you in those circumstances.

You are right about PSG picking their signings better than some other oil clubs have, though.

I dont think he joined PSG cos they were offering high wages. As far as i remember he wanted Inter move(Think he saw PSG as an alternative to Inter move) but they were priced out in the end.I also read he dint like England or something.

I don't necessarily mean they were giving him 10m a year or anything - just that they will have been offering him more than Man Utd or Inter.
Ok,fair enough.

Though i still believe Leonardo had a lot to do with Lucas' signing.
