I think Napoli will hardly replace him, he's just too good. But they will be a scary team either way.
Would rather see him, ripping a new asshole to Chelsea then seeing him wear their shirt. Same deal with Madrid and Shitty.

if he leaves no top 3 finish
:agree:
They'll certainly do better than Udinese, Milan, Inter and maybe as good as Lazio, Roma and perhaps Fiorentina.

I was suggesting Damiao when Mazzarri was still at Napoli, but I don't think such a pure poacher would be a good option for a Benitez team.

I don't know how big a problem wages will be for Napoli in replacing Cavani. Cavani is on a pretty good wage these days, so Napoli could pay someone ~4m a year if they want to.

They can still build a better all round team with that money.i mean i dont think it wud be centered around one player which was the case these last few yrs.

it doesnt matter who they get their squad will be inferior to roma, fiorentina, add to that the solidity of lazio, you can easily see them slipping below top 5 with a new coach
I don't think their squad will be worse than a lot of these teams, assuming they sign a good (good, not great) replacement for Cavani.

The issue will be whether they believe they can win without Cavani.

If they make a good start they'll do fine, if they don't start well they could have a really tough season.

Could do.

I have a feeling they might end up with Osvaldo.

If I was them, I think I'd have Matri pencilled in as the fallback option if they can't get someone better.
