Higuain and Gomez would be marquee signings for the league, and excellent signings for any top league they end up, two very excellent strikers, who just happend to be to 2nd choice options in their current clubs, doesnt mean they arent any less of quality strikers. Gomez would deffo be most deadly striker in Serie A if Cavani leaves as he is expected to.
He has a point though. Back when the Serie A was great, it was teams like Milan and Juve who had players like Higuain on the bench, so he would never have been considered a marquee signing 10 years ago.

Maybe not marquee signings, but they are bigger signings than buying 15 goal a season Ibrahimovic from Ajax. The bench strikers in the 2003 CL final were Zalayeta, Di Vaio and over the hill Rivaldo. And from the starting forwards, Del Piero and Shevchenko were huge names, Inzaghi and Trezeguet probably had less or equal international recognition than Higuain and Gomez have today.

If Rafa brings in Masch, he will play him as a defensive mid not as a centerback. Dont forget that Masch's best years in European club football were under Rafa as a DM.

Do you think Atletico will use the Falcao money to keep Courtois or do you think that Chelsea will recall him?

IMO Ronaldo should leave that team. I would like to see him banging goals again in United... his true home.

He should have never joined madrid.

That demonstrates that real madrid is not the "end all be all" team for footballers.
