meh, not crazy about him. too one dimensional. there's a reason bayern have been playing mandzukic instead.
He may not be good enough for Bayern, but Bayern are arguably the best team in the world right now.

He'd be amazing for Fiorentina. Better than what Klose is for Lazio IMO.

Wash your mouth. What Klose's doing at his age, Gomez will never do and I say this even though I rate Gomez.

Because Mandzukic is great and working more for the team. Gomez is an incredible poacher but he doesn't chase defenders like Mandzukic does and then Mandzukic, when given the chance, took it and any coach would be an idiot benching Mandzukic when he proved what form he was in..

And a team like Bayern has enough offensive players on the pitch so a hard working ST really worked well for them this season..

Benitez wants Mascherano.
- Di Marzio

Imagine Higuain, Gomez and Mascherano to Serie A.

Oh how the mighty have fallen  We used to have Ronaldo, Bati, Del Piero, Sheva etc etc just 10 years ago and now we're fapping over some bench warmers from Real, Barca and Bayern as some marquee signings for the league.

Higuain and Gomez would be marquee signings for the league, and excellent signings for any top league they end up, two very excellent strikers, who just happend to be to 2nd choice options in their current clubs, doesnt mean they arent any less of quality strikers. Gomez would deffo be most deadly striker in Serie A if Cavani leaves as he is expected to.

I think people easily forget that Gómez was the top scorer in the Champions League last season. Fiorentina are grabbing a fucking steal.
He has scored 30 plus or close to it in goals in like like every season since 2007, except 2009-2010 one (his first season for Bayern, had a slow/floppish start to his Bayern career), this past season of injuries and bench time excluded ofcourse, but despite that he has scored 19 goals in overall, respectable figure for a discarded player. Two previous seasons to that one was 39 and 42 goals respectively.

Needless to say, if Viola sign him, they gonna feel like they have Luca numero uno bomber Toni in their midst again. Defenitely would score 20+ goals without much effort IMO.
