Fellaini to Napoli !?!
Source?
Gomez to Napoli nearly a done deal

we should have got him
Agreed.
He is better staying with us for the season, he will get a bigger move than Napoli after World Cup.
1) We aren't there yet, still Croatia to beat.
2) Fellaini isn't even a certain starter for our NT (yes, we have such a good midfield that he can be benched)
If he does well (and he would) we'd see all of the clubs chasing him even after one year at Italy. Napoli is not strong enough to hold him for 2-3 seasons.
Been thinking the same about Cavani and Hamsik for the last few seasons.
I think he's an amazing player and possibly well worth it. 25mln might be better.

Out of that younger generation I'd say only Vidal and him are worth a lot on that position.

Problem for Fellaini this season, has been him playing out of position too much.

IMO, much bigger options for Fellaini than Napoli, no need to rush.

BVB and the 27-year old Błaszczykowski, who has hit 25 goals in 168 Bundesliga games, have agreed a new deal which will keep the Poland international at the club until summer 2018. "Kuba is an important cornerstone for our team thanks to his footballing skills and his character. His performances have been noticed all over Europe," said sporting director Michael Zorc.

"When my contract ends, I can look back on more than ten years at Dortmund. Such periods are not normal anymore in professional football. I am very, very proud that a top club like Borussia Dortmund puts this much trust in me," said the former Wisła Kraków man who arrived at the club in the summer of 2007.

~10mln I think.

He's not Italian, so he's not expensive.
That must be it...

It might be because of that, I didn't saw many Udinese games, but people here rate him very highly, he was even linked to many premier league clubs. And what I find more curious is that we paid more for half of Isla who tore his knee ligaments...

He(neymar) looks like Justin Bieber
He is Bieber of football

I guess it might just be because he is your quiet, calm, tidy, Barzagli-type centre-half, rather than being one who is going to go getting a lot of attention or grabbing a lot of headlines.

He's also only had the chance to prove himself at Udinese when playing in a back three, so perhaps foreign sides aren't sure he can play in a back three.

Anyway, if he goes for about ~8m, I'd say that's a reasonably fair valuation.

Can't say I've really noticed that, but Udinese defend deep and are good at not leaving their defenders big spaces to cover, so it could well have been hidden to some extent.
