Close, only my info regarding Hulk is different:
Hulk bought from Tokyo Verdy for 16.720.000 £

But, what f.e. isn't shown, is, to give a few examples:
They bought Cristian Rodríguez from Paris SG for 6.160.000 £ and he left them a few years later on a free transfer.
They bought Pele from Inter for 5.280.000 £ and sold him for 598.400 £.

I don't want to underestimate your numbers, but you also have to take the players that aren't in the list into account.

Yeah it doesn't show all the transfers. I got this from a footie discussion group, it's mainly about the transfers that made considerable profits to Porto.

It just shows how you have to pay a premium to buy from them. Buying is easy when teams have huge finances, but to get into a position where you can name a price for a player because you can afford to turn down market values is the hard part.

I do also wonder how much of these profits go to agents and agencies. The Hulk deal is an example, the fee varies from €5.5m to €16m, different clubs involved with cuts and third parties. These are things that increase value.

We also don't know if 'signing-on fees' (different with part ownership) are essentially part of the transfer fee because of this.

Even if they lost 100m because of this they would still have a massive profit.

Monaco has spend more than 100 million and the transfer window haven't even opened. How many clubs will we see reaching the 100 million mark this season?

Abidal has officially left Barca:

Abidal: "I wanted to continue here, but the club saw it differently and I respect that. I leave now, but I will be back."

I liked him as a player and as a personality, it's a shame that cancer pretty much ruined his career in the last years.

Porto usually get a small percentage of what they sell for. They are involved with some shady people who own the players they usually buy like Falcao for example and those guys usually take a huge amount of the money.

Also I fully expect Abidal to go to PSG or Monaco.

Porto is in a great position because a lot of South Americans prefer them as a transition onto the continent. Similarly, 3rd party investors also prefer them so there is little competition for signatures. Basically Porto approaches the investors who have lists of players. Some players they take just to appease investors so they can get the real stars.
