Gomez is CF, Goetze is more a winger/ss so it doesn't make sense. I know Gome is going to leave but we can't afford his wages just like Ibra's. Shaqiri is young and very good we should be able to afford him if Bayern wanted to sell.

Reports are saying that Guardiola is considering to give him a role similiar to Messi's in Barcelona. Shaqiri is not leaving, that would make no sense. Robben is gone.

Still, it is very interesting to see a club such as Bayern being in a position to pay one huge fee every summer.

They've got there through steady growth and through good management, so I don't object to their ability to spend in the way I object to PSG,Man City or Chelsea throwing cash around.

Depends, Götze can go either way with Pep, either be ballsy and play Götze as fake 9 instead of a out and out striker (seen Götze play this in NT games, vs Kazakhs being last, couple league games too), and go with:

Ribery - Götze - Muller

Kroos - Martinez - Schweinsteiger

Alba - Dante - Badstuber - Lahmn

Or yeah just keep Götze as natural AM, drifting/roaming Iniesta kinda approach:

But doubt Götze will play as CM in a midfield trio, will play bit ahead of two CMs, or as a forward IMO (either centrally or as wingforward).

Yeah even if Muller is not most technical of players he is still a highly intelligent player who moves really well, knows how to exploit space, keep it simple and is quite deadly/efficient offensively. Think he will suit fine as a wingforward for Bayern, will be the balance player in such a trio, and the one to provide more directness and off the ball movement.


Gomez and Robben are goners though, but dont see how Muller is at risk, unless they sign further AMs/forwards, like Isco or such (would be siiiiik if they did though).
