It's none of the SFA's business.

Hearts worked very hard and pressed pretty well, so hopefully they are exhausted for when we play them on Sunday.

Thought it was pretty pathetic how Liverpool failed to dominate midfield for long periods, despite having an extra man in there.

Should be kept in mind with Liverpool struggling a little that Tynecastle is a tiny pitch and is always an absolute nightmare for trying to find space.

Can probably count on the fingers of one hand how many open games I've seen there over the years.

Spearing is only half-man so you shouldn't be surprised.

How is Tremoulinas aka "tuz's most overrated player" doing? :D
Recently he's actually regained some of his old form. Starting from the second half of last season, and also the first two games this season, Trem has actually been one of the best fullbacks in the Ligue. Still, he has lots of defensive faults. Francis Gillot(Bordeaux's coach) changed the tactical setup to a 3-5-2 which has benefited Trem a lot. He now plays as a left wingback. Bordeaux are playing PSG in Paris on Sunday, should be a good game, as Bordeaux are in form this season, and Trem has been one of their best players alongside Obraniak and Goufran.

Thats Tremoulinas's problem though, he needs a lot of protection, because he doesn't actually enjoy the defensive side of the game, when he's bombing forward, he's always a threat though.

I'd say he'd be a good signing for Juve, if you guys intend to keep playing with wingbacks, the minute you revert to a 4 man defense though, he will be a liability :D

Blanc understood that, and he masked it pretty well in the past, both him and Chalme(the rightback) are not very good defensively, Bordeaux played a very compact 4-4-1-1 system with a diamond midfield back in Blanc's days. The two central midfielders on the left and right (Plasil and Wendel) did very well to cover for the two fullbacks while they provided the width. Gillot is now revitalizing Bordeaux, they are now a threat again.

"We hope that will be complete. I believe from the club that everything has been organised and sorted in terms of paperwork. So we're hoping in the next 24 hours it can be done"

- Brendan Rogers on the Sahin deal.

Well fuck me sideways

I really really hope Wenger has M'Vila lined up, the only thing that will redeem him. Because frankly i can completely see him deciding to rely on Diaby and Coquelin.

If I were an Arsenal fan I would be pissed that the steps they take after acruing more than 30m in funds via two transfers is to try for a friggin' loan. Instead up reinvesting the cash in a no shit, balls deep good player.

I am pissed about that, but my expectations in the transfer market have become so low, i'd settle for anything, as long as its not bringing any new faces and settling with the mediocrity we have.

Berbatov would be a very good signing for Fiorentina, like Kloze for Lazio last season, smart and technical target man. Bendtner and Borriello doesn't sound good though, they could've just spared themselves the effort and hold onto Amauri if they wanted a potentially-good-most-of-times-very-bad-player.
