I've quit believing anything I see regarding that one. I read a report that said Wenger was interested because he though Sahin could play DM.
That being said i wish you could sign him.I'd love to see a Lucas-Sahin-Allen midfield..Lucas is great as it is and i rate Allen very highly, with the addition of Sahin it would surely make it one of the best midfields in the league.

It would allow Gerrard to push forward and Henderson would be a good player to swap with Lucas every other match to avoid re-injury.

Villas Boas on the striker situation :

Asked on Thursday if he would sign another striker, the Tottenham manager replied: "I don't think so. With Adebayor, Defoe and Kane coming through, I think I have enough options.

"Damiao is obviously a fantastic player but he is not our prospect at the moment because we are closed with what we are trying to do on the striker situation."

debuchy is so overrated
Who rates him? :p

He isn't a very good defender as Juvetrez pointed out, but offensively the guy is amazing, and he has bags of energy, never stops running down that right flank.

He was always a winger mind you, only recently was he transformed into a fullback, so its completely normal that he isn't a very good defender, at least not yet, but i think he's a much better defender today, than when he first started out as a fullback a little over two years ago.

BBC aren't that interested in being first to report stuff (unlike SKY), so are more likely to wait a bit and actually be right.

Did you watch Liverpool tonight?

They were very poor from what I saw, even allowing for the team they selected.
They should have scored about 5. Style of play was fine, defenders still looking like they're not used to handling the ball so much. At times Hearts kind of took it to us, which shouldn't happen. We really could use a defensive midfielder. Pretty much looked like a team learning to play a new way. I'd give them a 5 out of 10 on the performance.

I know the Scottish FA was furious with the team selection. But what do they want with City on Sunday?
