I'm only familiar with his "time always proves me right" fantasy to be honest so I can't see how I pulled a Cronios there [:D] but yes, 18-20m was a reasonable price for Rossi back then.
he's always right regardless of the outcome, so in hindsight buying an injured player for 20 some million whose injury came back later to debilitate him for another year would have been a good decision :p

Modric flying to Spain on Thursday to complete move to Madrid for initial £23.6M and further £3.9M of add ons. (Sky Sports News)

And to think that they rejected something like £40m or thereabouts from Chelsea last season.

Why would Barca want Llorente ?

If they are serious about signing Llorente ,it would mean moving Messi back to the RW and imo its highly unlikely that will happen..Messi will continue to play in his current central role as the false 9 with Villa and Sanchez flanking him.

Dont try to be too funny..Barcelona wont sign him/dont need him and even if they somehow do,he'll be riding the bench for most of the time.
oh, yes, barcelona with average height 1.60cm of their players don't need a tall and strong striker  thanks for being funny instead of me

Adam, Lucas, Gerrard, Allen, Cole, Spearing, Henderson why the hell they are going to sign him too?
Adam and Spearing are probably on their way our in some way or another. If we do sign Sahin, it will only be for a loan.
