this has more to do with the players wanting to leave. they wait till they got only one year left on their deal and suddenly they want to leave. plus those clubs don't need to sell, so they hope these players change their mind or they think well better play him another year and sell him than for some millions less....

Arsenal always sell their players for pretty high fees. They almost never sell for cheap IMO
