Meh, i guess City can pull it off, if they really want him, he could be tempted by the big money. Otherwise he's probably Madrid bound.

We'd be more appealing to him than City as he could find a place in our team more easily than at City and we can also pay him fat money.

I still wouldn't pay 40-50m for him, but whatever.

He's been benched by Tottenham this season. Redknapp prefers the more dynamic Walker. Corluka is a good fullback imo, would be a very good signing for Roma.

Why are they happy. One would think its nice to have a backup such as Corluka sitting around.
TBH I haven't seen him in a while. But the ones I've spoken to says that his cross are worse than Molinaro's and he doesn't contribute enough offensive.

Roma wants him as 5th CB and backup RB I think. Spurs fans over here claims he is not Tottenham material and wants him off their payroll.

Why backup?

He can't really cross that is true. He doesn't attempt to, he actually prefers playing short passes to his teammates instead. I think he's a very balanced fullback, he isn't great going forward, but he isn't the type that wastes the ball, his technique on the ball isn't bad either. He's also a good defender. Haven't conversed with tottenham fans about him, but i've always thought he was a good fullback.
