Pique had earlier claimed on Twitter that "today will be a great day" and those sentiments were echoed by goalkeeper Victor Valdes, who announced the deal could be done "in a matter of hours".

Club captain Puyol also expressed his optimism on the social networking site, before Pique all but confirmed the deal as he tweeted: "We now have him here".

Puyol then showed his delight at the prospective move as he wrote: "Welcome home!!! Happy to have you here @cesc4official"
I wish someone would expose Puyol for the ugly woman that he is

If Napoli get Rossi and don't let Lavezzi go then I think it will be far more difficult to us to get the third spot and we won't be favs in the race anymore.

Just saying...

I seriously hope Napoli don't get Rossi.

If Conte fails, and that's a big IF, I would expect no less than Deschamps, Capello or Ancelotti. We can't fail this year for the club's sake, let alone the next as well...

I've been the same getting carried away with ''guru'' rumours on VS like he did however Dzeko and Aguero were both confirmed we'd made bids. They has been no confirmation that Milan have made contact with Arsenal let alone a bid that's why it was never believable.

Pique knows shit, it's matter of time before we see him with a Milan jersey. :seven:

I know how acmilan feels though, I was like this during Dzeko and Aguero saga, optimistic till the end, hoping they would fail the medical.

It's not even tha same to be honest we really had chances on Dzeko and specially on Aguero , but Fabregas to Arsenal WTF , i don't get who Milan fans belived they had chance on Fabregas , something i can't even imagine .

Like someone before saied Milan doesn't spend , they spend something like 22 max 25 mln E for a player , and Cesc costs 40 mln E .

Best scenario would be :

Eto -> Anzhi
Lavezi -> Inter
Amauri -> Napoli
