I can totally understand why Barca buy Fabregas. They have Xavi who's getting older and Fabregas wants to move back home. That I can understand, but Sanchez? As some already pointed out, in Barcelona the only player who can be dominant with the ball is Messi. You guys think he will be content with being Messi's sidekick?
That someone has a name mate!

Fred:

City are in discussions with Arsenal about Nasri from the guy I know.
If we do that, we'll be lucky if we get a Europa league spot. Fuck this transfer window.

Barcelona is the ONLY team in the world that doesn't need them. In any other team these two would start and be one of the team's top players. Yet, it's Barca that will sign them.
The motherfuckers are ruining football. Signing players just so other teams won't become stronger.
Meh.

Likely to hasten the end of the current Barca.

They are spending money they may well not have on players they don't need.

It's only a year since they had to take out an emergency loan so that they could pay their players on time.

It does spoil football, though, when a few teams hoard so many of the top players.

They can't spoil football because they are football.

Manchester City are confident that the Arsenal left-back Gaël Clichy will become their first signing of the summer, but they have distanced themselves from reports that they are also trying to persuade Arsenal into a £20m deal for Samir Nasri.

The two clubs have agreed a £7m fee for Clichy and the player is expected to arrive in Manchester early next week. But there have been no high-level talks about Nasri's potential availability and none are planned.

Nasri, who has been prominently linked with a move to Manchester United, has one year left on his contract and City are monitoring him as a possible back-up option for later in the summer. However, their interest has never gone beyond that point and City are bemused by reports they have been closing in on a deal with the player's agent and club.

City will be relieved to conclude the deal for Clichy, who was the subject of a £5m bid from Liverpool last week, after a difficult start to their summer transfer business that saw them concede defeat to Barcelona in the signing of Udinese's Chile forward Alexis Sánchez.

So, now City have 3 LBs, that I can think of ... I am sure there are at least 3 others among the 50 players they have on the roster :sergio:
