Logically it wouldn't make sense to me to play Di Maria in the middle when the only place for Rooney or Mata is in the middle. Maybe Rooney can play on the flank sometimes. Of course, Di Maria is fine in the middle but the other two are not as good on the wing so I would let them stay in the middle.
