I have nothing against Arsenal the football club, but some of their fans are indeed some of the most irritating people I've ever come in contact with. I visited one of their forums once & I'm sure I lost a few brain cells.

Nah there'll be more than that my friend

What part you moving to?
Bournemouth, I'm engaged to a guy who lives there, but I can't apply for my visa for a few more months still. I've been there of course although never stayed long enough to gauge the annoyance level of the average football fan there, but he's told me stories about how people always give him a lot of shit for supporting a non-English club. Can't stand narrow-minded fans.

Ah cool. Hope all goes well. Not all football fans have an annoyance level. Just the Gooners. They automatically get born with it. Typical sing when your winning lot.

One of the best towns in England imo  Pretty cool, young scene down there. Obviously quite a few older people as well, down on the south coast, but it's one of my favourite towns.

Good to get an opinion other than his, he hates it there, but he has a job & property so it makes the most sense to stay there at first. From a visitor's perspective it seemed like a fine place to live.

Most people here moan about where they live, it's a national pass time like talking about the weather, drinking tea, and watching Coronation Street.

I suppose in any town of that size people might be bored after many years, but it's close to Southampton, and not that far from London. On a US scale it's nothing.
