Napoli’s official radio station claims they have agreed terms with both Zenit and Axel Witsel, beating Everton to the player.
The Belgium international midfielder had been all set for Everton this week, but has still not finalised the transfer.
According to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli – the radio station affiliated with the club – there is now an agreement with both Zenit St Petersburg and Witsel’s entourage.
The deal is believed to be worth around €20m plus bonuses, while he is expected to sign a four-year contract.
