I keep having to remind myself that most of the people here are lacking a great deal of intellience, on any other forum I would of used the "" smiley...but its the norm.

Vieri isnt a good striker? Of course he isnt
I agree with u about Vieri. Many ppl only care about the bad points of Vieri, like his misses and all the blunders he had made, but they actually never paid attention to his strengths. Vieri, the top scorer of the 2001/2002 season, yet they claim he isn't a good striker. He uses his physical strength to battle against defenders and has superb finishing. I can still recall a few games in which Vieri's headers have created problems for opposition teams. But if ur Inter there's nothing much u can do, Vieri's problem is also that he is a womanizer from a local magazine which I read. Too bad it's in Chinese.

As I said, Vieri to Milan is a very good move, not only to gain back his confidence, but to provide good back up + trouble for the opposition.

the whole point is this, stick Veiri in a team of players like Pirlo and Kaka for example. he'll notch up about 15+ goals without breaking a sweat.

no need for vieri at juve. It all depended on Trez whether he stayed or not. if he left..it was gilardino that was needed. if he stayed, then we didnt need anyone.

besides, Cassano is rumoured again which is weird because all our forwards are having a good pre-season and i dont think he is really needed.

I can never judge a player on his performance while at Inter but am glad we didn't sign Vieri.

Unless Vieri cuts his hair i don't think he will change, ever since he left his hair stay long he became crap, he's fixing his hair all the time on the pitch for fvck sake you're going to play in a match, you're not going to a fvcking model show.
This is true

I don't feel happy to say it but Veiri is finished...
The best thing he can do is wasting some time sitting on the bench with Inzaghi calculating who scored more goals between 1998-2003 year by year ....

Vieri is no doubt a great player, and even though I doubt Christian actually beat every single Milan player in sprints, the Rossoneri actually needed his services with the loss of Crespo. We do not.

As far as his status with the Azzurri...we have seen what he can do, and the past two tournaments he hasn't impressed me at all. Gilardino, Cassano, and Toni are the new generation and Vieri is on his way out.

    Past 2 tournaments ???

OK, he didnt score in Euro 2004 (and neither did anyone else, really)

And he scored almost all of our goals (except 1) in WC 2002

I will agree that he does need a haircut

“He has made massive improvements in the few weeks he’s been training with us,” revealed Professor Jean-Pierre Meersseman. “Within a month Vieri will have phenomenal fitness levels.”

It is important news for the 32-year-old hitman, who has struggled with a series of injury problems and poor form during his last season at Inter
Can you say "recurring injury aggrivated by over-training"? :)

Vieri's good and no doubt he's a good signing for Milan yes, but as to whether we needed him? I don't think so.

Now IMO, Milan's reason for signing him was last season's UCL final. Imagine this scenario: Milan and Pool tied at 3-3, 10 minutes to go and Vieri comes on...

As said before, Milan needed a sub for Crespo. We, though having many of Crespo's former Parma teammates on our squad, do not.

Last season, we needed a major shot in the arm on defense. Canna was just the trick.

Vieri is good, but as said before, we didnt need him. We have Trezeguet and Zlatan. Del Piero and Mutu also.
