Easy Win For Milan Against Lugano
8/12/2005 8:09:00 AM
The Rossoneri crushed the Swiss side 7-0 in a friendly match on Thursday night.
Another brilliant performance by Manuel Rui Costa in this preseason helped Milan ease past Lugano on Thursday night as the team continues to prepare itself for Sunday’s traditional ‘Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi’ against Juventus at San Siro.

The Portuguese player scored a goal and assisted three others with Christian Vieri’s performance highlighted by two goals.

The other scorers of the night were Kaka, Jankulovksi, Shevchenko and Serginho.

Vieri grew up not far from where I live in sydney...
His father still coaches here.

I dun know y milan bought him... cmon the guy is past his peak... its downhill from here... IMO he should have gone to the premiership. He'd kick ass in England!

But yeh... Vieri still has class... Enough to play for the likes of Milan? maybe for a season. After that... I don't know.
