And I jump to defend them at every opportunity.

Well, I never thought that Barcelona participate in figure skating. And I think when we mention Barcelona we mean FC Barcelona which means FOOTBALL Club Barcelona.

I gave Barcelona as an example because of the recent arguments, but that can simply apply to any team. When one says that he or she is a fan of a certain club's football it means they are fans of the team whether they like it or not. They might admire the way the team plays but when they start defending the team at every opportunity, they are inevitably fans of the mentioned team.

what you think
please discuss

No offense intended, but I think this post is utter bullshit. I could not disagree more.

For example, I always wanted milan to lose, but I enjoyed watching them play (in 04/05 season)

Yeah, I can't really see any sense in it. If what he's saying is true, you'd essentially not have any favorite style of play because most clubs on this earth change managers and thus tactics from time to time..

Each time someone says something bad about Barcelona a bunch of members take it personal and go defending the club. What are these called?

I'm a Juve fan above all, then a fan of attacking football
it gives me no joy watching a team camping in their own backyard for 90 minutes
as a neutral I want to see flowing attacking football with lots of scoring chances and goals
Juventus? I want them to win wherever and whenever they play
I couldn't care less if Barca or Chelsea were in the final, I only wanted to see what I call attacking football so I was slightly disappointed altough the tension of the game made up for that

Then is it justified that you defend a team that plays attacking football (NOT JUVENTUS) no matter what bullshit is being said about it?

No, you only defend a team, any team actually even one you hate, when bullshit is being said about it, especially biased bullshit. Like for example, someone saying that Chelsea deserved to go through is not bullshit, thats ok. But someone saying that Barca are not having a great season, now that imo is biased bullshit.

What is wrong in being biased?
It clouds one's judgement but to each his own i guess.

I for one never thought it was meaningful to be biased, even for your own team. I mean for example, i get a lot of stick from the Arsenal fans, when i tell them that we are a lucky team that did not deserve to be in the semi's, and the only reason that we are in the semi's is because we got lucky in the draw. I said that before the Man Utd game, i was insulted and called Anti Arsenal. But what is it that they expect? Should i say that we are deservedly one of the best 4 teams in Europe and that we aren't lucky, just because i am an Arsenal fan?

What is wrong in being biased?
Not allways the case (but mainly when its bit stronger case of it), but biasm is an excuse for people who are wrong to claim they are right. Its like saying whats wrong with being wrong? :p

This matter is really overrated here...
There is nothing wrong at admiring the beautiful football Barca is showing atm.
Every football fan enjoy to see such a display now and then, from the fittest tams in the world.
You dont have to feel guilty about it, it doesnt matter you are less Juve fans,
    on the contrary.
We might never, ever become such a team again.
Not even remotely close to them. It doesnt matter that we must hate them just for that fact! Hating only means illogical envy here!

Personally, i would like to see Real failing and the EPL not winning the CL, so, forza Barca all the way.

Ok, that's fine but what is a Juve fan called when he rushes to defend Barcelona?

At all times, or just now??
Barca now is the vessel of attractive and offensive football in Europe.
Defending what they represent now is one thing, but defending them at all times is quite another...
