Juventus to bid big for AC Milan striker Gilardino
tribalfooball.com - May 29, 2007

Juventus are planning a £15 million bid for AC Milan striker Alberto Gilardino.
Gilardino is set to see his first team chances with the Rossoneri shrink further next season with Ronaldo cleared to play in the Champions League and an admission by coach Carlo Ancelotti of plans to add another big-name attacking signing this summer.

Juve are resigned to losing David Trezeguet and want Bianconeri fan Gilardino to lead their attack next season.

The club's board are adamant, however, that any negotiations with Milan will be done without Gigi Buffon's name being mentioned.
