dont get me wrong, gerrard is a top player, but i dont think he is the player we need. he isnt that creativity, he is more powerful. what we need is a real creative midfielder who would break defences down with slick skillful passing. A Ronaldinho, Riquelme, Aimar, Zidane type of player...none which seem to be in the market this summer. This is why i think Capello is so keen on Cassano, he wants him to be that player for juve.
if capello has the same plans as last season, then by all means, gerrard is the man to get, but i just dont see capello playing such a defensive game as he has so far at juve.
